Paper Source Sweets...

I was in our local Paper Source store last week and fell in love with their latest display featuring Cupcakes & Sweets.  I couldn't help snapping a few pictures of the things I would have loved to buy.  I'm trying to remember that instant gratification isn't always best.  It's better to admire what you want for a while before you get it - it means more that way.  I think when I give myself the green light to buy myself a treat, I'll pick the journal and lip gloss.

Yeah...definitely the lip gloss!!

Famous words to live by.  Just don't over do the cupcake part...jeans are not forgiving.

And a coordinating gift bag to match!!

May The Force Be With You

Over the past weekend, Curtis (the hubbster!) and I were in Williams-Sonoma and happened upon a Star Wars Vintage-Style Lunch Box that came with coordinating sandwich cutters.  I knew my nephew would flip if he had this and of course, I would continue my reign as the best aunt ever if I got it for him.  And yes, we ended up buying it...how could we not??  His 5th birthday is coming up soon and it's just so perfect for him.  Plus it's the gift that keeps on giving!

He can take this with him when he starts school and my sister-in-law won't have to worry about the box breaking like those cheap plastic ones they sell now-a-days.  And he will have true Jedi-Fighting, Darth Vader-Destroying shaped sandwiches that will make any boy want to eat his lunch and show it off to his school buddies.  Or, he'll forget the lunch and store all of his Star Wars action figures in it, using it like his very own mobile toy chest, filled with Star Wars Galaxy greatness.  Either way, I know he'll be thrilled and that's all that really matters.

But wait, there's more!  You can also use the good ol' fashioned tin lunch boxes as means of creating a theme for your party, giving it away as a party favor, or incorporating it into the decor of your candy table and dessert table.  You can even use them as a unique touch in your wedding reception, engagement party, bachelorette party (See Tootsie Roll box...wink!)...the possibilities are endless.

They are perfect for filling with goodies for your bachelorette party go'ers, bridesmaids, out-of-town guests or as a "loot bag" for children's birthday parties too!!
