Tinkerbell Sweets Table

I'm so excited to share these photos of our Tinkerbell Sweets Table!  A dear friend of mine, Krista Salmon, of Kiki's List certainly knows how to throw a party.  Her daughter, Anna, was turning 3 and she asked that I create a candy table for the party.  After finalizing the candy selection and backdrop with an Inspiration Board we were set.

What really topped off the table was the AMAZING cake done by Kristy Stone of Tastefully Treated.  It was literally a work of art.  I highly recommend her as she made the cake for my bridal shower and it was one of the best cakes I've ever had!

I'm thrilled with the way the table turned out and so happy that Anna had a magical day.  Check out more photos of the party from Kiki's List.

Sweet Nothings Firetruck Sweets Table

We designed this Firetruck-themed sweets table for Kristin of Hampton Paper Design.  Her son Jackson had a fabulous 4th birthday party and it's been making waves in the blogosphere.  Thanks to all the bloggers below who featured Sweet Nothings candy table.  Oh, and my husband Curtis.

The REAL fireman.

Sneak Peek: Firetruck Sweets Table

Remember THIS post??

Well, the big reveal is right around the corner!  This weekend Sweet Nothings will be debuting our Firetruck Sweets Table with the help of the ever-so-fabulous Hampton Paper Designs!  Kristin, owner of HPD, is throwing a Firetruck party for her son Jackson's 4th birthday.

Kristin asked me to come up with a fire-themed design and incorporate candies that coordinated with the HPD firetruck and helmet invitations.  When creating any sweets table, a backdrop is A MUST!  After settling on various red, yellow and black candies I was able to select vessels that would best showcase the candies and keep with the firehouse feel.  I created an inspiration board for Kristin so she could design exclusive Hampton Paper Design labels for each of the vessels.

Look for the pictures on our blog next week to see how it all turned out!!

If you are throwing a party in the near future and would like me to create a custom inspiration board for you, please contact me.  Inspiration boards will include a custom design, table layout, candy selections, vessels and where to go for all of your sweet materials!

Sweet Trends: IZZE Pop

Day 4 of 2011's hottest sweet trends is a drink?  Really?

Yes!!  Izze is one of the hottest sweet drinks around.  It's bright, vibrant colors, all natural ingredients and classic soda pop bottle make it perfect for any party or sweets table.  This sparkling drink coordinates easily with a multitude of color palettes and can be displayed in various ways.  The bottles are so pretty you almost don't want to hide them in the typical ice tub!  Not only are they pleasing to the eye, they are easily personalized for your special occasion.  You can hang a note from the neck of the bottle, wrap personalized label around the bottle, or place a cute straw in the drink adorned with a customized straw topper.  Your guests will love this refreshing and unique drink.  They need something to wash down all the sweets, right??

This post makes me want to pop an Izze for myself and build it into Sweet Nothings next sweets table!

Don't these lollies make you happier just looking at them??

Stay sweet my friends.

County Fair Sweets Table

Oh how I just adore this County Fair sweets table that Michele Wimborough put together for her son, Graham.  Michele has a fantastic blog, Cakewalk, that I love to read.  You should definitely check it out.  Every bit of this sweets table is so perfect for a boy's birthday party and county fair theme.  Having grown up in a place where the town fair and county fair are a BIG deal, Michele nailed every bit of the occasion.  The table offers a sophisticated clean look, yet still leaves you with a homemade and comforting feel.

Check out more pictures of the party and her sources here.

Sweet 16 Sweets Table

What a fabulous sweets table for a Sweet 16 birthday party!!  Chris Nease of Celebrations at Home designed this beautiful table. I love the "Reach for the Stars" theme coordinated with purple and green color palette.  The confections used for the table are great.  Skim and 2% Milk paired with brownie pops and birthday cake...super cute!!  My favorite piece of the table has to be the backdrop.  It makes this sweets table really stand out.  Great job Chris!!

To all of my readers:  Have a fabulous day and make sure you get out there and vote!!  It's a right of freedom we are blessed to have, so exercise that right!

Happy Birthday Brady!!

My oldest nephew is turns 5 today!!  What a milestone for him.  I can't believe it's been 5 years since he graced our family as the first grandchild.  I love that little boy to death.

I came across this Superhero themed Sweets Table and it immediately made me think of him.  This is one of the best Sweets Tables for boys that I've seen.  Great colors, simple taste and very much fitting for that little birthday boy.

Happy Birthday Bubby.  I love you.
