Great Thoughts & Great Finds....

Hello friends!!  It's been a few days since my last entry. I've been racking my brain about the organization and display of my blog and my future endeavors.  It's important to me (and those who know me can attest) to be organized, polished, professional and have a game plan.  It's critical to make sure to have your ducks in a row before moving forward, otherwise you'll never do your best work and you're wasting your time and everyone else's.

My ideas are coming together quite nicely and I'm thoroughly excited.  There is lots for me to do, lots of people to meet and most importantly, lots of desserts to taste!!  But before I can get started with my next dessert table and really get moving on my plans, I need to pack up my life and all I know to be mine before married life and MOVE.  Fortunately, I won't be moving too far from my work and the thought of getting back to the great city of Arlington, VA excites me.  The best part is knowing I'll finally be living with my husband and we can begin our life together in our new home.  Despite being a country girl at heart, it's nice to get a taste of city life every now and again.  Plus, access to great bakeries, dining, shopping and nightlife is always a plus!!  There is so much to look forward to...I can't wait!

The best part of the day today was a quick and very productive stop at Home Goods.  I found AMAZING deals for some great pieces that will undoubtedly add so much flair to my tables.  It's preposterous how a few platters, classic apothecary jars and cake pedestals can make a girl sooo happy!!  I can't wait to plate them and fill them with delectable desserts and fanciful candies.
