This picture perfectly depicts how I feel inside today. I'm going home in less than 24 hours.
CALIFORNIA, here we come.
Despite my excitement, there will be plenty of sadness and many emotions during my first few days back. We will be honoring my Grandfather's life and the amazing man he was. There are so many wonderful memories of him that our family shares. I look forward to all of us being together to tell our stories and pay tribute to G-pa.
But first thing's first: I can't wait to see my Momma and give her a big hug. I just pray she doesn't start crying when she finally sees her children and her grandchildren.
Either way, we as a family, will finally be together. And that's what's really matters.
