July 10th, 2010 .... A Day to Remember

On July 10th, 2010, I married my best friend.  It was a day full of emotion, love, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.   

The morning of our wedding day, it rained with fury.  Fortunately, the rain stopped and just as it was time for the ceremony to begin, a breeze picked up.  The sound of the leaves began rustling in the wind.  The clouds parted in the sky and the sun shined down on us.  It was utterly magical and proved to me that all was right in the world at that very moment. 

The images below capture our day perfectly.  So many aspects of our wedding were done by Curtis and myself.  We hand-painted each sign, built the centerpieces, arranged our own flowers, favors and more.  Thank goodness for all of the help from our family and friends the week of the wedding - we couldn't have pulled it off without them.

You are amazing.

And now... we finally depart for our honeymoon.  It's been the best 3 months of my life and I am thrilled to spend a blissful week with the greatest guy ever.  My husband.
